Do I need to move my cars for my reroof?Yes, the delivery truck will need to pull into your driveway to deliver materials. We also need your driveway cleared again the day before your reroof starts because the dump trailer will be delivered and left in your driveway for the duration of your reroof.

Will the crew keep my property clean and protected?Yes, the crews will keep your property clean the best they can. Our crews will also lay tarps around you property to protect plants, AC unit & pool. Remember this is a construction zone and a messy job. Your yard will be left the way it was found after job completion.

Will the crew cover my plants?Yes, tarps will be around your home to protect the plants.

Does AK Certified Roofing do repairs?Yes, we do repairs, new constructions roofs & roof replacements.

How do I receive my Wind Mitigation Report?The wind mitigation company will contact you DIRECTLY to schedule your wind mitigation inspection within 2 weeks of job completion. You will recieve an email of this report once completed.

Does AK Certified Roofing tarp roofs?Yes, when necessary we install a temporary roof tarp. We may also tarp the roof due to rain.

Do you use sub-contractors?Synthetic is an upgrade from 30 pound felt paper, and peel and stick is an upgrade to synthetic. Synthetic is more of a vinyl paper underlayment which requires two layers by code. Peel and stick is a membrane based material that is water tight and can be exposed to the elements for a period of time without water penetration.

What are the benefits of metal versus shingle?The benefits of having a metal roof verse a shingle roof are the overall durability /longevity of the roof. A metal roof provides maximum strength and protection to the roof system of the home.

How soon can you start my roofing project?Our scheduling depends on weather and material availability, while working you into our already made schedule. Permit turn around time also effects the start date. But we strive to start projects as soon as possible. We can normally work you in ASAP if its an emergency. Contact us for current availability.
