Two quotes can cover different work even when they name the same roofing material. A Quote Check starts with the details: what comes off, what goes back on, what is included, and what could change the final price. We explain the words on your quote and put AK’s own scope and price in writing.

If a line is missing or unclear, we identify the question to ask. We do not label another contractor’s price or judge how that company runs its business.

Materials and roof details

The named roof covering, underlayment, drip edge, flashing and ventilation. For a tile or metal system, ask for the high-temperature peel-and-stick underlayment and product approval that apply to the assembly.

Wood replacement and exclusions

Whether damaged decking is included, how additional sheets or boards are priced, and how you approve extra work. A per-sheet price in writing makes a hidden-condition allowance easier to understand.

Permits, payment and warranties

Who pulls the permit, which fees are included, when payments are due, and the separate written terms for workmanship and manufacturer warranties.

Can I book without another quote?
